Update All Apps Windows PC: Follow the steps given below to update all apps Windows PC.

  • Open Windows Update in the Control Panel.
  • Click Change settings, and set the drop-down menu to Install updates automatically.
  • If you don’t have Microsoft Update installed, then only Windows updates will get download automatically.
  • If you have another Microsoft apps installed (anything from Silverlight to Office), you’ll need Microsoft Update.
  • To choose it up, click the Click here for more information link at the bottom of the Windows Update window.

Turn on automatic app updates

App publishers will sometimes update their apps to add new features and fix problems. The Windows Store can automatically install app updates.

For Windows 10

  1. On the Start screen, select Store to open the Windows Store.
  2. Choose the account menu (next to the search box), and then select Settings.
  3. Under App updates, set Update apps automatically to Yes.

For Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1

  1. On the Start screen, select Store to open the Windows Store.
  2. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap the Settings option.
    (If you’re using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Settings.)
  3. Tap or click on App updates.
  4. Make sure Automatically update my apps is set to Yes.

For Windows 8

  1. Click or tap on the Store to open it – you can find it on the Start Screen or in your full list of apps.
  2. Once you’re in the Windows Store, open the Charms bar and click on Settings.
  3. Now click on App updates.
  4. Click the Check for updates button. You can also switch on the automatic updates by moving the slider above the button where it says Automatically download updated for my apps.
